Who are you?
I work as the Lancaster Field Technician, am based in the Lancaster Environment Centre, Lancaster University, and am responsible for monitoring of water quality.
What is your role in the project?
My role within the Eden DTC is primarily to install and maintain field kit, and undertake sampling campaigns for water quality projects. Preliminary analysis of samples and data collected also fall under my remit.
What is your background?
My background is in animal biology and ecology, and includes research interests in the fields of disease epidemiology, animal behaviour and sexual dimorphism. Most recently I have been involved with developing a method for oxygen stable isotope analysis to investigate phosphorous cycling in water.
