Job Description
Durham University is seeking to appoint a Field Technician to provide general support for the River Eden Demonstration Test Catchments (Eden DTC) project. The project is developing a large-scale research platform to test measures for reducing diffuse pollution from agriculture. It will consider the impacts and effects on both ecosystems and sustainable production. The project started in spring 2010 and will last initially for four years. This is a fixed term appointment and will last for 42 months or until 31st March 2014, whichever is sooner.
The post is primarily field based and will involve significant amount of time working in the River Eden, from a satellite office at the Newton Rigg campus of the University of Cumbria.
